Idle and Incremental Games

Idle and incremental games run the fight while you watch, and Zorp builds them because a system that plays itself still has to feel earned when it wins. You set the loadout, the hero does the marching, and the numbers climb whether or not you're staring at the screen. That trade appeals to a studio built around short weekly builds, since the pull of an idle game lives in its systems rather than in split-second reflexes.

Deathless Depths stakes a real claim: keep everything you find, even after your hero dies. A floor that kills you still hands back every coin and shard along the way, so the next descent starts stronger than the last. That fairness runs deep enough that a tester clears every floor on plain store gear before a build ships.

One idle game live so far, with more queued behind it. We would rather say that plainly than dress a short shelf up as a finished catalog. Follow The Signal below and we will tell you when the next one lands.

Building next in this genre

Nothing below is live yet. These are queued for the idle lineup, and we are not attaching release dates until a build is close to done.

  • A clicker. The genre's rawest form: a single tap, a number that grows, and every upgrade fed straight back into the next tap.
  • A tycoon-style management idler. Fewer floors, more levers. You are running a business instead of a dungeon crawl.
  • A city-builder idler. Growth spreads across a map instead of down a corridor, with production chains that keep ticking while you are away.

Common questions

  • What idle games does Zorp have?

One so far: Deathless Depths, an idle dungeon crawler where a knight, mage, or rogue marches through a hundred torchlit floors on their own. It is free, runs in the browser, and needs no download or signup.

  • What is an idle game?

An idle game keeps running toward a goal with little or no input from you. In Deathless Depths your hero fights alone; you gear them up, fire a skill when it lights up, and watch the floors go by.

  • Do I have to keep tapping to make progress?

No. The hero fights automatically. Firing your skill and belt items speeds things along, and doubling the battle speed is one tap, but the run carries on either way.

  • Does Deathless Depths work on a phone?

Yes. Open it in your phone browser and hold it upright. On a desktop the same dungeon spreads out to fill a wide screen.
