The Player Promise
The rules, written down
Most game sites bury the ad rules, or do not have any. Ours are written down, in plain language, and we do not get to quietly change them. Here is exactly what a Zorp game will and will not do.
-
Will an ad fire when I win, lose, click, or back out to a menu?
No. No ad fires on a win, a loss, a click, or a return to the menu. Those moments are yours.
-
Can an ad interrupt me mid-game?
No. Ads never interrupt a run in progress. If you are playing, you are playing.
-
If I say "no thanks" to an ad, does another one show up instead?
No. Decline means decline. There is no fallback ad after you have said no.
-
What about rewarded ads?
Rewarded ads are always your choice, never forced, and the reward is always stated up front before you opt in. You will always know exactly what you are getting.
-
Do I need an account to save my progress?
No. Your progress saves without an account — your guest save persists on your device.
-
Will leaderboards ever be pay-to-win?
No. If and when leaderboards arrive, a spot on them will never be for sale.
That is the whole promise. If a Zorp game ever breaks one of these, tell us — a broken promise is a bug, and we fix bugs.
The Signal
One email a week. The new game, nothing else.
We send one transmission a week: the new game, and nothing else. No digests, no drip, no re-engagement funnels. When you are done, one click and the signal goes quiet.
