The Player Promise

The rules, written down

Ads pay for Zorp. These are the rules we hold them to.

  1. Ads never interrupt play. If you are in the middle of something, the screen is yours.
  2. Interstitials only appear at natural breaks, like the end of a level, and they are capped. Most breaks have no ad at all.
  3. Clicking around is always safe. Menus and browsing never trigger ads.
  4. "No thanks" means no thanks. Decline an ad offer and the game carries on, with no penalty and no sneaky fallback ad.
  5. Rewarded ads are always your choice, and the reward is stated before you watch.
  6. Your progress saves without an account.
  7. If leaderboards arrive, spending will never buy a spot.

That is the whole promise. If a Zorp game ever breaks one of these, tell us. A broken promise is a bug, and we fix bugs.

The Signal

One email a week.

The new game, plus the occasional note from the studio. When you are done, one click ends it. We never sell the list.
